Most of the trees found on the site are Goat Willow, the fluffy, wind-borne seeds of which allow it to colonise new areas rapidly. Dust-like spores from mosses, fungi and ferns have also found suitable places to germinate and grow at Jubilee, as have seeds of plants such as oak and bramble, brought in by birds as the area became more attractive to them.
